Sharks reassign Defenseman Jacob Middleton to San Jose Barracuda

SAN JOSE, CA – San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) general manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Jacob Middleton to the San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda), the team’s top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (@TheAHL).
Middleton, 24, has appeared in 31 games thus far in the 2019-20 campaign for the Barracuda, recording six points (one goal, five assists) and 52 penalty minutes. He also appeared in four games this season for the Sharks.
The six-foot-three, 210-pound native of Stratford, Ontario, was signed by San Jose as a free agent September 7, 2017.
